Your three-part project check
List materials before estimating the size
Tell the team about cabinets, worktops, packaging, flooring and any wall finishes. Separate appliances, electronics, unfamiliar building materials and particularly dense waste in the discussion. Not everything from the same room belongs in the same load.
- Name each main material.
- Describe the approximate amount.
- Confirm accepted contents and the loading limit.
Coordinate with the renovation schedule
The published rental includes seven days. Agree delivery and pickup around the actual work. Ask about any extension terms if the renovation changes, rather than assuming extra days are automatic.
Do not use ordinary curbside collection as the backup plan
Durham's waste by-law excludes construction and renovation material from regular curbside garbage. Arrange an appropriate route for the job. If older materials may be hazardous, obtain qualified advice before disturbing them.
Quick answers
What is included in the published rental package?
$563.87 CAD including Ontario HST covers the 1 ton minimum, seven days, delivery, pickup and fuel. Each additional ton is $226 including HST. Confirm your selected bin, materials and full job terms with the team.
Is loading included in the rental price?
No. The rental is customer-loaded. If you need people to carry and load items, ask for a separately quoted crew-loaded junk removal service.
