Courtice delivery checklist
Good placement starts
before delivery.
Show the whole route and agree the position. It makes delivery, loading and collection easier to plan.
A good fit for your property
Courtice driveways.
Real-life access.
- 01Short or shared driveway?
Show the whole approach, not just the empty parking space. Mention shared access and vehicles that need to stay.
- 02Planning a renovation?
List drywall, flooring, shingles and other heavy materials separately. The loading limit matters as much as the bin size.
- 03Keep the route clear.
Agree private-property placement and keep entrances, neighbours and pedestrian access usable.

Agreed bin spot
Everyday access
Planning diagram only, not a clearance specification. Send access photos for an address-specific review.
What to send
- A photograph from the street towards the proposed position.
- Any gates, slopes, overhead obstructions or narrow sections.
- Details of shared parking, managed spaces and vehicles that cannot move.
- Your loading route, especially when stairs or a separate entrance are involved.
No universal clearance promise
Ask for the actual truck and bin dimensions proposed for your address. A bin-size graphic does not show all the working space needed to lower and collect it.
Keep road and pedestrian access clear
Clarington says waste bins must not be stored on the road. Municipal right-of-way occupation is subject to the municipality's rules. Do not assume a permit allows road storage. Check Clarington's roadway guidance.
